Zombie banner...

Friend asked me to make a banner up for her "dude" as she put it. It's for an "open source nerd blog". So naturally there's to be zombies in it. So this is what we got. Drew it all using Flash software. It's my new favorite drawing/painting app. Really gives me the looks I'm after, and makes painting really easy and fun.

Illustrator mess

Just messing around in Illustrator did this little doodle. Updated with a happier one today cause it was nicer outside... almost spring is weather, made me happier :)

Firefly animation render

Tweeked the model, rigged, and animated! Going to get tested in the scene and we'll see how it looks. What fun!

First firefly 3D render

So here's the first 3D render. Pretty happy with it so far. Just have to do some little tweeks and see what the boss says. and I can start animating.

Here it starts...

Yesterday I started work on my part for the Family spots for March break, titled "Gimmie a break" there's a few scenes in the works, but I've only got one element I need to worry about. It's a forest scene, and I get to create little fireflies with light bulb butts.

This is just a rough design, sketch and a flat Photoshop mock up that I'll be trying to render in 3D. Probably going to stick with a standard bulb and the shorter, not so creepy legs.
